What is Back the Future?
Back The Future brings together, upskills, articulates, and amiplifies diverse youth voices to influence policy around a just transition in food and farming. This project connects six Ambassadors – young farmers, students, and youth food justice advocates – with the expertise and contacts needed to help them advocate for change. The Ambassadors shape and steer the Back The Future project with support from five partner organisations.
Our aims
- Equip Ambassadors with the awareness and skills needed to advocate, engage with democracy, and influence decision-making.
- Increase diversity within a just transition in food and farming by amplifying underrepresented youth voices.
- Provide decision-makers with opportunities to actively listen and respond to youth advocacy on food and farming.
