Programme features
When you sign up to Drug and Alcohol Impact, you gain access to a wide range of support from us at SOS UK, and the wider Drug and Alcohol Impact membership.
Being part of Drug and Alcohol Impact provides:
- Regular, tailored 1:1 support virtually for your partnership.
- An online toolkit for the accreditation criteria, providing resources and highlighting areas of good practice.
- Resources for key dates of the year, such as the welcome period or Student Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week.
- One on-campus support visit each academic year, bespoke to your partnership’s needs. This could include planning sessions, staff/student training, mapping out of criteria, team meetings, or a pre-audit.
- Virtual group support days, offering the chance to share ideas and good practice with other members of Drug and Alcohol Impact, and also hear from experts in the field about developments relevant to student communities.
- Support to engage with the Students, Alcohol and Drugs Survey, to enable you to build a strong evidence base of your students’ attitudes, behaviours and experiences with alcohol and drug use. We will also work with you to understand your local data, and consider how to build interventions in response.
- Support to recruit student Drug and Alcohol Impact auditors, and on-campus training for these students for your audit process.
