SOS-UK is excited to launch our lineup of proven sustainability and wellbeing programmes for the 2025-26 academic year, supporting institutions and students’ unions to embed positive change. In a challenging time for our sector, we’re here to ensure sustainability and wellbeing remain a priority, by bringing our affordable expertise to strengthen your work.
As a student-led charity, everything we do is not-for-profit and shaped by our sector-leading research. We work in partnership with institutions up and down the country to drive meaningful change, ensuring students are at the heart of sustainability action.
Our experienced team is here to support you, whether that’s adding capacity, bringing in expertise or co-creating solutions to help you meet your sustainability goals. You can find out more about our impactful programmes in our offer documents here, and explore how we can work together in the coming year.
What we are offering in 2025-26
Our diverse range of programmes cover the whole of the sustainability agenda, allowing you to pick the programmes that align closest with your priorities for the coming year. Many of our programmes earn your institution a prestigious accreditation mark so you can demonstrate externally your commitment to, and progress towards, sustainability and wellbeing.
This year, we are offering tried-and-tested programmes focused on:
- Empowering student and staff climate action: driving behaviour change and mobilising your community to cut carbon at scale.
- Embedding Education for Sustainability across teaching and learning: transforming curricula to equip students with the skills and knowledge to shape a just and sustainable world.
- Wellbeing and community: creating healthier, safer, and more connected student communities.
- Nature and biodiversity on campus: taking action to tackle the ecological crisis and reconnect people with nature.
- Ethical procurement and investment: shaping a fairer, more sustainable economy through just and responsible decision-making and engagement.
- Sustainability training and capacity building: supporting students, staff, and student representatives to lead meaningful change and undertake personal development focused on sustainability.
- Research and insights: providing evidence-based expertise to strengthen sustainability strategies and impact.
- Inclusive recruitment and attracting diverse talent: ensuring sustainability attracts the brightest people from all backgrounds and lived experiences.
And if you have a specific project in mind that isn't listed, we offer bespoke consultancy services too!
