Climate education and teacher training on the climate emergency is inadequate. We want this to change! Our future is at stake.
Teach the Teacher is an international, youth-led campaign bringing students into their schools to talk to their educators about climate change. Students involved are trained with the skills and knowledge to give their teachers a one hour lesson on climate change, teaching them about what it's like being a young person in the climate crisis and the need for climate education for all. And teachers are then supported to integrate climate into their teaching going forward.
We've just launched our upscaling of Teach the Teacher in the UK!
