Announcing - subsidies to kick-start your ESD efforts
We're offering funded places on our Responsible Futures scheme in 2017, to help further your ESD work.
This year we won the UNESCO-Japan Prize for ESD, for our Green Impact programme. The award was testament to our long-standing dedication to furthering sustainability across the student movement, and recognised our work as world-class in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
As a part of the prize, we were awarded a cash prize, which we've already been giving away as part of a £10k micro-grant scheme.
We are now inviting partnerships to take their ESD work a step further by joining Responsible Futures. Subsidised first-year memberships are being offered for partnerships (students' unions working with the university/college) to join in 2017.
Interested partnerships should contact the Responsible Futures team outlining the following:
- What does your existing ESD work entail?
- Why do you want to join Responsible Futures?
- How can you demonstrate that both the SU and the institution are committed to the programme, and to working in partnership?
- Why do you need the subsidy and how can you demonstrate that you'll remain involved following the end of your subsidised place?
Partnerships may be able to receive a full year-one subsidy or a partial subsidy to join the programme, depending on what is needed. Partnerships will need demonstrable commitment to the programme in the short- and long-term to be successful in gaining a subsidised place.
Please contact us with any questions and submit expressions of interest by Monday 30th January.
