We believe education can bring about that change. SOS-UK is a student-led education charity focusing on sustainability - we know environmental sustainability cannot be achieved in isolation, so our work spans across issues of justice and wellbeing as well.

At the beginning of the audit experience I was apprehensive as it seemed a very advanced process beyond my current skill set, however I I found the process, after training, to be straightforward and informative, educating myself on the social inequalities presented by non-fairtrade products.
I have understood more about the need for an interdisciplinary approach to tackling sustainability issues, and how there needs to be more action from everyone at all levels.
I felt the training was comprehensive and gave all the information required in such a short time frame. [The most valuable part was] building on my knowledge of sustainable food and creating a product for sale.
